What well-nigh the maiden names? In United mexican states is common to have two final names, and ours complete names are created with the first, middle, last and second terminal names.

electrocucaracha

Thanks for sharing that info with us. You are admittedly correct. I know several wonderful Mexican students with beautiful long names.

The term maiden proper name refers to a woman's family name or last name before she got married. Of grade, not all women modify their names to the married man's family name upon wedlock!

Dear Ms. Rebeca,
Thanks for the lesson. I am from People's republic of bangladesh & as per our custom some names has no link with family name also we never asked for information technology such as my proper name is Mohammed Bazlur Rahman & my father name is Abdul Latif. In my passport & other certificates my name is written only Mohammed Bazlur Rahman.

My question is how I volition write my commencement, centre & last proper name. You lot kind advice will be highly appreciated.
Best regards,

bazlur

    An interesting tand difficult question!

I would look in the passport and follow what they have done. So it MAY exist that Mohammed is your first name, Bazlur is your eye name, and Rahman is your family or last name. I cannot be sure though.

Please bank check with other English speakers or teachers in your state as there are national and cultural differences which determine the reply to your question.

Thanks for teaching me something, too.

    Rebecca

hi teacher what is the significant of `maiden name`?

Abhilash Sadanandan

    Hi Abhilash,

A « maiden proper noun » is the family unit name (surname, or last name) of a woman before she gets married.

    Laurence

Hi Rebecca,

Even if I've been learning english language for years, I establish this lesson very useful! It really helps untangle some pretty well mixed upwards notions!

Laurence

Beloved Ms. Rebeca,

It is an impoliteness mode to ask 'what is your name' in India. Probably the utilize of 'what is your good name' derived from Hindi phrase "aap ka shubh naam kya hai". If we use "skilful name" , it will be considered more politeness/respect.

Delight have my sincere thanks for your valuable teaching. I tin can follow you lot easily.

Basheer Mohamed

I committed a mistake by misspelled your name as 'Rebeca'. Lamentable Ms. Rebecca.
